UPDATE: The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office located the missing 80-year-old mushroom picker near Trillium Lake. They found Akemi Takahashi at 8:10 a.m., about 530 meters from her car.
Search crews heard Takahashi signaling with her whistle and were able to find her.
She was out in the elements all night, but made her way out with rescuers.
She will be assessed at a hospital.

GOVERNMENT CAMP, Ore. – The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 80-year-old woman near Trillium Lake Friday morning.
The sheriff’s office says Akemi Takahashi, of Tigard, was picking mushrooms in the Trillium Lake area before disappeared.
Her friend reported her missing at around 6:50 p.m. Thursday. The friend said he hadn't seen Takahashi since 4:40 p.m.
The friend said Takahashi is an experienced mushroom picker and has a whistle with her, but she left her cell phone in the car. She was last seen wearing an orange jacket.
Volunteer searchers from Pacific Northwest Search and Rescue and K-9 search teams from Mountain Wave Search and Rescue joined the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office in the search Thursday night, but did not locate Takahashi.
The Washington County Sheriff's Explorer Post and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue are joining the search effort Friday.
